Lawyers with Heart event set for Feb. 1

Casablanca is the the theme for the annual Lawyers with Heart fundraiser on Feb. 1 at the Mary Agatha Furth Center in Windsor.

The room will be decorated to simulate the Moroccan city circa 1942, and in keeping with the theme, food from that country will be served.

The annual event is sponsored by Legal Aid of Sonoma County, and money raised will benefit the Child Abuse Prevention Program.

Advance tickets are $100, with VIP tables also available. Prices will increase after Jan. 25. To purchase, contact kweir@legalaidsc.com or come to the Legal Aid office at 1105 N. Dutton Ave. (Suite B) in Santa Rosa.

Last year, more than $55,000 was raised for the child abuse prevention program.
