Where to find: cheapest gas near Windsor

You’ve no doubt noticed that gas prices have been steadily rising. You’ve probably felt it in your wallet and and bank account.

For those who don’t have the option of using public transportation or bicycles to get around town, there are a few places in Windsor where the pain of high gas prices won’t hurt too badly.

On Sunday at the 76 Station located at 4605 Old Redwood Highway, gas was $4.57 a gallon. The Fast Lane Gas 2 at 5321 Old Redwood Highway and the Food and Fuel Market Valero at 4856 Old Redwood Highway both had gas for $4.59 a gallon.

The average gas price in Windsor is $4.69 per gallon. The most expensive is $4.80.

The national average is $3.79 a gallon. The cheapest gas can be found in Waycross, Georgia for $2.93 a gallon. The most expensive gas is found in Big Sur, California for $5.64 a gallon.
